What does it mean to you to LEAN into your complementary energy as a Leader?


Being in  a C- Suite/ Senior leadership position, you may have pondered many times-

How do I show my human side?

Will I be considered weak?

Will it affect the overall strategic growth and vision?


Historically Leadership has celebrated the so called "masculine values" to the extent of negating the "feminine values"

The charging bull statue at NY Wall Street, is a symbol of financial prosperity. It depicts energy, unpredictability and is representative of all the "masculine" values - aggression, drive, control, result, discipline, structure, assertiveness.

And then what qualifies as "feminine" values?

The feminine energy is about expressiveness, support, empathy, compassion, sensitivity, flexibility, listening, collaboration, compliance


Leadership is bigger than just being a man or a woman. We all have a dominant energy within us..that can  be labelled as masculine or feminine.


Holistic leadership is the ability to implement your dominant energy and  lean into your complementary energies, maintain their balance, using them in the right place at the right time to drive excellence and be effective. 


To be able to function at your full potential and beyond, you need to have the courage to embrace and demonstrate flexibility of adopting the yin- yang of leadership and be multidimensional


How can I now be ready to lean into my complementary energy!!?
